Summer season is over...

Hey guys,summertime is almost over!No more thermal winds here at the homespot but it was an amazing summer this year!A lot of progress,new moves and now i'm ready to sail mostly in waves again and also take part in the Pro Kids competition.The forecast for the next week shows no wind but some good waves so stay tuned for some SUP-wave action :)

NEW MOVIE

Yo!!Sorry guys for not updating my blog but the action just stopped since im back from Naxos,Greece!I was there for 2 weeks to train on some moves like funnell,puneta and stall flaka which i managed to land and build consistency thanks to the great conditions at the spot!First week was full power 3.7-4.7 but i got injured on the second day and it was hard to sail so i took 2 days off and then went back in!I worked on my double flakas so i can do them easily now and progress to the more advanced moves.On the second week i decided to make an action clip but the wind didn't quite agree so i only filmed a day's work with 5.3 so no double moves and full planing exits!Last day i had an unexpected morning session where i tried my first Burner which didn't end quite as planned...Now time for some holidays and then back in action!!

Finally some action!

Hey guys!After 2 weeks of terrible winds last week was really windy and i managed to sail almost everyday despite my foot injury.Now that the wind is down and i'm done with my school exams i found some time to update the blog!The good news is that im getting the flaka really tuned now and i will be soon landing my first punetas and esliders since my switch sailing skills improved a lot,the bad news is that my foot is no where near full recovery and the forecast is looking really bad this week!I took some vids with my GoPro which will be uploaded soon so check my Youtube channel and stay tuned for more!

LANDED THE FLAKA

I'm super happy to announce that on the 6th day of training the flaka i landed my first one at my favorite spot for freestyle,my homespot,Makenzy Beach!!During the weekend we went on a surf trip to Ladies Mile beach,Limassol where we had a lot of fun and  i did some significant progress on both flaka,spock and going switch!I can't wait to go again now to practice the ponch and puneta!

Stormy weekend

Hey guys!After a long period of no action,this weekend was super windy!!I got a new sail which was the perfect size for the conditions!After landing the spock a few weeks ago i started the flaka this weekend with some rewarding yet painful results.On Tuesday i got really close to landing the move but the storm broke through and i didn't have any time to correct my mistake and land the move.The forecast for this week shows no wind so i'll have some time to relax and get ready for the next windy days so i can maybe land the move!

NEW MOVE

During the stormy weekend we had in Cyprus i managed to land the move i was training for,the forward loop!Unfortunately after that i crashed really hard with my toes on the board and i will try to go back in the water tomorrow for the last day of wind then recover from my injury when it's not windy!
